Notices of Potential Liability - New Service for Housing Factors and Associations 17 June 2010

The Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 introduced a further recovery tool for Factors and Housing Associations managing tenement properties. Registering a Notice of Potential Liability for costs does not generate an immediate return but will ensure the liability is paid when the property is sold.

Service of the notice also acts as a further reminder to occupiers of their liability. AMA can now offer a comprehensive service to clients covering both Service of the Notice and subsequent registration. All we need are details of the property and the amount of the liability and we take care of the process from there.

Instructions can be accepted by way of Web Minerva, our on-line instruction service, emailing instructions to be processed quickly and with the minimum of administrative burden for clients.
