Inclusive Inhibition Service
22 April 2009

As we reported on our Legislation pages Inhibition became a much simpler process with the abolition of Letters of Inhibition and the availability of Inhibition both on the dependence and in execution in the Sheriff Court.

As a result of these changes AMA can now offer an inclusive service of arranging registration as soon as service has been effected. Simply instructing us as officers of court is a considerable cost saving to the previous system.

The further advantage is that the Inhibition becomes effective sooner because we can send the Inhibition for registration immediately after the execution document has been completed. This inclusive service should make Inhibition a more attractive diligence for creditors.
